MTCO Communications has grown from a telephone company into a diversified technology company offering phone systems, high-speed Internet and most recently venturing into the TV service world by launching its own digiMAX IPTV service the first quarter of 2011.

MTCO’s digiMAX  TV service offering includes over 70 HD channels, Whole-Home DVR, Pause Live TV, free HD service to the first TV and free installation .  The digiMAX SELECT package has a robust channel lineup compared to other providers, and other features include items such as Caller ID popup on your TV screen for all incoming calls.

As requested by many customers, combinations of services became available once digiMAX was launched, enabling TV, Internet and voice services to be bundled into double and triple play packages.

MTCO’s local technicians continue to advance the offerings, so be on the lookout the first of March for the new digiMAX myWeather channel giving Marseilles residents their own weather channel concentrated on delivering all local weather, all the time.  In the near future, Remote DVR, where you can set your DVR from any computer or smartphone, and Video-On-Demand will be available.

New to the Ottawa office at 1614 E. Norris Drive is the addition of Express Care, a walk-in clinic for treatment of minor illnesses and injuries such as cold or flu symptoms, sprains, strains, bug bites or infections.  The immediate care facility is open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.  Following diagnosis and treatment, patients are given discharge instructions, along with any necessary paperwork, and encouraged to follow-up with their primary care physician. Express Care patients have the option to use an automated pharmacy to fill their prescriptions before they leave the building.

Dr. Michelle Waters, a pediatrician who sees patients in both locations, recently earned the distinction of becoming board-certified.  Dr. Waters joined the staff at Ottawa Regional last July following completion of her pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital of L.A. in Los Angeles, California.
